We’re revealing four more cards from our festival deck. Behemoth, Voivod, Carpathian Forest and Heriot join the line-up of Mystic Festival 2022. See you in Gdańsk, 7th-June, 10th.
Behemoth is almost done burning and plundering Europe, and as you’re reading these words they are be on their way to South America, where they’ll promote their new album “Opvs Contra Natvram”. Nergal and his comrades invade every part of the world with their diabolic spectacle, but the chance to play at their home territory will be a special treat.
Voivod needs no introduction – they are true metal innovators who have launched themselves into space to discover new metal galaxies, powered by thrash fuel. With their newest “Synchro Anarchy,” this Canadian band has proven that they indeed possess the power and the courage that make them one of the most unique acts in the history of metal.
In 2006, Carpathian Forest proclaimed: “Fuck You All! Captum tuum in ano est!”. We remember these words, but we hold no grudges, and we’re waiting for their next great record. We already know the title of that long awaited release: „Likskue – Dødens arkitektur”, and we hope to see it before the festival… Whether we do, or not, we expect Gdańsk to be assaulted by their cold, raw, and vile black metal from the North.
“It’s one of the heaviest and most explosive bands of the British underground” – announced “Kerrang!” this spring. And indeed, Heriot used last months to advance from their garage straight into large festival stages, with an extreme mix of metalcore, industrial and noise. Their debut mini album “Profound Mortality” hits hard, and their concerts are a memorable experience.
We remind that the festival’s line-up already includes Ghost, Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons (with a Motörhead set), Moonspell, Perturbator, Sleep Token, Unleashed and Soen.
