Although the history of London-based Sleep Token does not go back very far, to 2016, the band has already become a musical phenomenon. This has certainly been influenced by the project’s characteristic genre plasticity; in the band’s compositions one can hear all-embracing alternative metal, with a dose of progressive metal, as well as art pop, djent as well as R&B. Their songs are unmissable, and the band members have a mysterious air: the only known member of Sleep Token, the vocalist, introduces himself only under the pseudonym Vessel, and during live performances, the four not only cover their faces with their characteristic masks but also wear robes and paint their bodies black.

The band’s third album, ‘Take Me Back to Eden’, will be released less than three weeks before their performance at Mystic Festival 2023 – on 19 May.
