Heriot formed in 2014 in the UK. Their output is currently encapsulated by a modest discography consisting of EPs, singles and a split with Older, and they describe themselves as ‘not a band for the faint-hearted’. No wonder, given the nature of their compositions overflowing with sludge metal, metalcore and undercurrents of sinister industrial. Their activity has been noticed and appreciated by ‘Kerrang!’, ‘Rock Sound’, ‘Revolver’ or Knotfest, resulting in a contract with Church Road Records.
